What is Microblading
Microblading (or eyebrow embroidery) is a relatively new, manual method.
It is considered to be semi-permanent, as compared to the traditional hairstroke technique. It is done using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis.
Impacting color closer to the surface, the strokes appear crisp and very fine. There is no “spilling” under the skin. This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows.
Who Is Microblading Good For
People suffering from alopecia, trigonometrical or any other condition that causes hair loss benefit greatly from having semi permanent brows or microblading eyebrows, as well as people who simply aren't happy with their eyebrows.
If you have had Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, or other aesthetic procedures to your face, we advise you to schedule your appointment one month from when you received those previous services.
Will They Look Fake
The pigments used in microblading eyebrows are medical-grade and have been formulated to match your original eyebrow color, and if the eyebrows are still present, blend perfectly into them.
Expectations
Microblading eyebrows are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present.
The results are a natural, flawless, fuller looking brow. Initially, the brows appear darker, but fade significantly over a two week period with semi permanent brows .
It is absolutely crucial to have a touch up done, as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment.
Week 1: Scabs form to heal, some swelling may occur.
Week 2 & 3: New skin forms and treated area will fade.
Week 4: Natural exfoliation and color emerges.
Week 6: Follow up treatment for perfect brows.
Can I Get Certified In Microblading
We offer training in semi permanent brows, microblading eyebrows, lip blushing and lash extensions of the highest level that is intensive and interactive with hands-on all the way through.
How Long Does It Last
Semi permanent brows and microblading eyebrows can last anywhere from 11 to 18 months, depending on different factors affecting the procedure.
However, a touch up once a year is recommended to retain the shape and saturation of pigment.
If you have had previous Microblading or have an existing tattoo from a different artist, Amanda May Beauty requires a half hour free consultation before scheduling an appointment for a touch-up or correction.
The average cost for the procedure in the United States market varies from $400 to $1200.
